Day 2 of the fruit and veggie diet.

Breakfast and lunch: 6 apricots and a chunk of watermellon followed up by a few slices of pineapple. Today I feel very hungry and weak- the kind of hungry and weak that makes you very apathetic. My intestines and stomach are not happy about any of this. I guess this is part of the "detoxing" even though- hate to break it to you body- I have no intention of giving up alcohol.

Despite all this I went on a many mile hike through Patapsco Valley State Park. It was nice since I was so hungry and weak I didn't think too much about how we made a wrong turn and ended up doing an extra multi-mile loop that took an additional hour and a half.

When I got home I pounced on a banana. Then I had some dried cranberries and some walnuts that seemed like the richest most indulgent thing in the world. Still in a daze but maybe not so hungry anymore.

Day One: The Fruit and Veggie Diet

I have decided to follow an all fruit and veggie diet for the next 3 months. This blog will record my progress and challenges. Today I went to the Asian market and stocked up on fruit. I bought a watermelon, apricots, bananas, apples, tomatoes, peppers, mangoes, a pineapple, and something i have never seen before; a dragon fruit.
